I like how right-on those lyrics are and then your mind took a dip in the middle of the song.

i had a stroke midway through

Pretty nice and groovy beat! I like the drum layout and the bassline doesn't seem to be interfering much with it. The bass could use some movement, since the notes are pretty slow and static—try a basic wobble effect to give it some extra rhythm, or maybe add a little sidechain. There's also a small resonant area in the mids of your bass that you could try EQing out. Other than that, it sounds pretty neat!

camsn8ke responds:

hey! it's you again! thanks for the advice! Yeah, i've used a wobble before but it wasn't my favorite, but it sounds cool. and yeah, I have a habit of making my bass sound static and slow.
i make it sound like that in fl studio and I'm like ThAt SoUnDs GrEaT! and then i upload it and i'm like, aw dang that bass suks.
thanks!

Interesting melody at the start. I wonder, is it made from a guitar or a synth? I like some of the progression later on in the piece, with the addition of hi-hats and all.

esta hecho con una guitarra sintetizada, desde el FL Studio. jeje uwu

The tone and the energy feels like one of those cinematic trailer soundtracks, or one of the LoL login screens. Super epic!

zybor responds:

Thank you for your review!

Interesting time signature for the chorus! I can definitely feel the breezy nature of this beat through the whimsical melodies, wavy synth pads, and the groovy beat. The soothing piano in between helps top it off.

theStyg responds:

Thank you! This was a fun experiment for me. Glad somebody can dig it 🤘

This track felt very clean with its mixing and arrangement, especially between kick and bass. The reverb that you added to some of the instruments helps add to the gritty tone. I wonder, were these sounds all made from drums?

QualitySlav responds:

I mixed some sounds between themselves and thats what i got, cant remember what those were but they do souns nice, thanks for the feedback !

Your use of pads helps establish a tranquil atmosphere, and the synth melody gives a soothing, rippling motion. The hi-hats, however, seem to counteract the calmness because of their high-end and transience. But if their levels were lower, they could serve well to balance the mix.

Eamaze responds:

thanks for the feedback

Gritty and dark, I like it! The drums pump well with the bassline and synths and they barely overlap. I like the part where you "pause" the track momentarily before going into another part of your drop.

If you keep this up, you'll get your tracks into GD in no time.

RegerkaDJ responds:

Thanks :D

An interesting title for a song with such grit. The mixing is great and the sampling is on point! There were moments where the break seemed to cut off or pause momentarily, off beat, before starting up against—maybe stretching or extending the sample there could help tie up those loose ends.

camsn8ke responds:

Hey, thanks for the advice! I'm a noob, (ive been using fl for about 8 months) and I forgot about that until I saw your comment. On future uploads i'll try to fix that. I know what you mean.
Thanks a lot for the advice!
