This sounds great as an experimental track, but without a clear beat or tempo it's not something I would typically dance to. It does have sections of calm and excitement, and on it's own it might be considered a full song. Interesting concept that I hope could be integrated into an intro or bridge segment of a more conventional dance track.

BitGDM responds:

I didn’t know that there was a “experimental” choice so I just picked “Dance”. But now it is “ experimental”.

Very aggressive and fast-paced mix! I like the eclectic choice of instruments used, and the mixing looks pretty decent too. I noticed that the E key in the first motif of the melody is an octave lower than in the original Für Elise; was that intentional or made in error?

junemoonondaboo responds:

no there was no error however thank u for the feedback! hey if u have gd come visit my acc. : junemoonondaboo

A simple melody with a delightful groove! It's pretty rare to see a major key in dance music nowadays, especially in C Major, but this somehow works! It would be nice to add a couple more background elements during the heavy sections of the track, like maybe some arps or chords, to fill in some of the space between melody and drums.

DooarDz responds:

omgggg, thanks for the comment, I will try to improve (sorry for my bad english)

This goes really hard! I like the filthy grit of the bass and its hypnotic, dark rhythm that pumps in relation to those signature synthwave kicks and snares. The sound design is really crisp and beautiful. It would also be nice if the track's dynamics were expanded to make use of the full dynamic range.

Immitis responds:

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for future songs.

Nice gritty and morphing bass! I like how you added in a distorted kick as a bass, with has a dry contrast to the other reverb/phaser-lush basses you have. A beautiful representation of an extraterrestrial fleet!

Hyenaedon responds:

this one really let me sharpen up my bass in general, glad u noticed

This song has a nice tekno feel to it! I've noticed that the timing of some effects and elements was a little off, so perhaps you could work on that in the future. I'm curious by what you mean by "live recording": was this made entirely through live automation and/or midi recording, perhaps even DAWless?

uran1one responds:

yes it was totally dawless, I only wanted to record an Idea that I had at the time, so that I could remember it and use it later to make a complete song, but I never got to finish it. This is why the kick is so off, and the timings are also pretty random

Interesting use of the piano at the beginning as a sort of riser/fader. The track has a very jazz-y feel to it, which really fits the style behind breakbeat and its origins.

elieltomas responds:

Kinda reminds me of Miles Davis' Bitches' Brew LP.

Sounds awesome! You should make an extended version.

sonicxtreme responds:

Thanks but i start all of then then i ran out ou ideas lol
